Re: Main Thread
I have moved to a student apartment and there's no wired network here... So I have to get a mobile network thing (those usb sticks with simcard slot in them). I played some TF2 with my Note II usb tethered and got a ping of 80-180. It was pretty playable most of the time (It's daytime now and everyone is at work/school so there's not much of traffic right now, so it will be slower in the evening).
But that doesn't keep me from gaming! Well, at least from trying...

Well I went out to buy a new headset as my old plantronics gamescom 777's broke after 2 years and got the Razer Kriken which are super noise canceling.
I then got invited to dinner and Trivia at a local bar/restaurant thing.
sorry that I couldn't make it.
but dinner was delicious and these headphones are pretty good, cept for that they are a complete seal and put pressure on your eardrums which I should get used to.

been using them for 30 min and it's alright, tho I might see if I can get some cloth pads instead of the leather ones which would not create a seal.

Well mobile broadbands are easy/cheap way to get access to the internet, and lots of people who don't play games get those instead of paying a lot for digging their yard upside down for copper/fiber. And I think this building doesn't even have copper, because when I asked about the possibilities of getting internet, they said that the only way is mobile broadband.felinoel wrote:Ugh, I hate how people are moving towards dropping all forms of wired networks, WHY?!?!?!W128 wrote:I have moved to a student apartment and there's no wired network here... But that doesn't keep me from gaming! Well, at least from trying...
I got a Huawei B593 for two weeks testing period from local store. Right now it works better than my Note II tethered, but I can't play TF2. I have a ping of 80ms, but when I leave spawn, my jitter rises to 60 and only I freeze in place, but everyone else keeps on running around smoothly, shooting each other. Then suddenly all traffic gets cut completely.
Oh god, look at the upload speed. Gotta go fast.

wow... I just went back to the minecraft forum and searched "fratal", apparently I was a bit of a dick.
shows how much 3 years changes you.
daym... it's been 3 years...
well shit, I guess I have done 3 years worth of stuff.
all this time in this kin and it will be just next month that I actually do anything related to kemonomimi.
going to a thing called neko nation it's pretty much a party/club thing with catgirls serving drinks that only happens twice a year.
